Cookie Policy

Always on (strictly necessary): the sign-in cookie payload-token (only if you log in), and browser storage for your lesson progress, notes and your cookie choice (beginnercoder-consent).

Only with your consent: Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) to count visits, and Google AdSense (__gads, __gpi, and Google's IDE, NID and test_cookie) to show ads that keep the site free. Until you accept, these scripts are not loaded.

If you arrive through a friend's invite link (/r/…), we set a first-party cookie "ref" for 30 days and keep the code in browser storage (bc_ref) so we know who invited you. It contains only the invite code.

Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies.

You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, or clear cookies in your browser.
